Title IX Investigator - Level 1 (Higher Ed.) (IND-TIXHE002)

This Level 1 course provides Title IX Investigators with the training required under the Title IX regulations and VAWA/Clery including the definition of sexual harassment and education program/activity and serving impartially in the role. The course also includes detailed information regarding investigative best practices, challenges faced by investigators, report and rationale writing, and litigation trends resulting from investigations. The training also includes a discussion of an institution’s requirements under the Clery Act/VAWA and its interplay with the new Title IX regulations. The course includes flow charts, checklists and resources for download in addition to the ability to post the course for inspection. The course concludes with an assessment of knowledge and a certificate upon completion.
